Business Development Representative - 129
Our client is competitively positioned in the ad tech space and they're growing rapidly. This role is ideal for a driven junior candidate looking to grow their sales career. As a Business Development Rep you'll support the sales team by prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities. Working closely with the Sales Directors and VPs, you'll be on the front lines of the sales team in an emerging market.
- Work with leadership to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
- Prospect at high volumes to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
- Schedule discovery meetings for to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership
- Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
- Source a pipeline of prospects through our CRM and your own research
- Submit weekly and other related account reports
- Complete sales training assignments to better your understanding of the industry
- Work within SalesForce to move contacts, meetings and accounts into further stages
- At least one year of sales experience, preferably in the advertising and marketing technology space
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong personal organization skills coupled with competencies in personal development
- Proactive, results-oriented thinker with high energy and positive attitude
- A passion for digital advertising and marketing
