Our client is a publisher with a suite of branded destinations focused on a diverse millennial market. They're looking to grow their sales team with an independent hunter who is also able to collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery. The ideal candidate has a record of success prospecting, generating new business, growing accounts, and managing all aspects of the sales cycle. This role is a great step for a creative seller, versed in digital ad sales, looking to grow their career with a forward thinking company.
- Identify new leads, establish strategic relationships, and close sales
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to campaign implementation
- Guide marketing, planning, and account management to develop optimum solutions
- Collaborate with VP of Sales to develop strategy and achieve goals
- Model best practices and deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate sales forecast
- Comfortable working independently yet open to guidance
- Proven track record of closing large, custom deals with a focus on branded and sponsored content
- Motivated, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Experience working with an African American or multicultural product
- A minimum of three years of digital ad sales experience
- Ability to project manage multiple programs and components
- Detail oriented with the ability to problem solve and think tactically and analytically
